WEEK 8 Fusion360 Materials

Material combination 1: Mahogany wood + Allaminum 

For my first material combination, I wanted to go for something with a more vintage look, something that can be displayed on a desk in my workspace that looked professional and still stylish. the mahogany adds more of a sophisticated look while the allaminum adds a more modern accent.

Material combination 2: Mirror + Air

For my second combination, I wanted to create a more puzzling image. the main material is mirror while the edges are air making the whole model hollow and light. this is not a very practical design since it wouldn't stand in real life the way it does in the image but it could be used as an interesting digital logo.

Material combination 3: Green Glass + Gold

For my final combination, I wanted to go for something that looked more valuable. the gold accent sands out in any lighting while the green glass resembles an emerald while still being see-through giving the model a balanced look. the gold makes the model look more sturdy and robust while the glass gives it a lighter feel.
